Town Hall has vacated the premises at 260 Commercial
Street and is now located at 16 Jerome Smith Road for the duration
of the renovations to 260 Commercial Street. The mailing address
to Town Hall remains the same. Read

New Trash and Recycling
Pick-up Schedule Effective November 3, 2008: Due
to the change to a four-day work week beginning the week of November
3, 2008, the Department of Public works has instituted a new trash
and recycling pick-up schedule. See

Sewer User
Rate Decrease: On October 16, 2008,
the Provincetown Water and Sewer Board held a public hearing and
voted, pursuant to MGL c. 83, §16, to decrease the sewer user
rate from the current rate of $0.0185/gallon to $0.01385/gallon.
On October 27, 2008 the Provincetown Board of Selectmen voted, pursuant
to MGL c. 40, §22F, to approve the recommendation of the Water
and Sewer Board, effective November 16, 2008. This rate change reflects
a 25.14% decrease from the current rate and applies to all properties
connected to the sewer. See

Shellfish Area to
Open November 2: On Sunday, November 2,
2008 the shellfish area west of the west end breakwater will be
open to the public. See Public
